The Pila GL2 is a hybrid Xenon/LED flashlight with many optional accessories. It is powered by two CR123 Lithium batteries, or by its proprietary lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. The head contains a Xenon bulb, and the LED tailcap contains four 5mm LED's. A tactical clickie tailcap is optional.

[edit] Pre-2006 Model

The Pila GL2 design was identical to the Wolf-Eyes 6 series and E2. Its Xenon bulb output was 80 bulb lumens, and had optional lamp/tailcap assemblies.

The redesign of the GL2 made significant improvements. The Xenon bulb was upgraded to 120 bulb lumens, and the body is much heftier and sturdier. It can also take advantage of the Pila Codex and 120 lumen Cree lamp assembly.
