MBPKG-WM Crew-Served Weapons Light (CSWL) Illumination System
Peak Beam Systems, Inc., manufacturer of high-intensity Maxa Beam searchlights, has introduced a Crew-Served Weapons Light (CSWL) Illumination System for heavy weapons. The weapon-mounted searchlight features a rugged, field-replaceable front lens and lamp assembly and a built-in interface that mounts the light to any M1913 “Picatinny” rail.
The Maxa Beam CSWL offers several unique capabilities including a Remote-Controlled Beam Width feature in which the operator can alter the beam width between a 1 degree spot and a 40 degree flood and a Non-Lethal Strobe function that effectively disables and disorients a target in situations where lethal force is not warranted. All of the Maxa Beam CSWL features are controlled with an easy-to-use tape switch mounted at the rear of the weapon. The Maxa Beam CSWL weighs just 3.85 pounds and offers an unparalleled 3000m visible/white light and 1200m infrared light range of illumination. The Maxa Beam CSWL system is rated at IP66, features Mil. Spec. metal connectors and has been tested extensively by U.S. Special Forces at NSWC Crane and Fort Bragg.
MBPKG-A Rapid Deployment Maxa Beam Package
The Rapid Deployment Maxa Beam Package contains the critical equipment that you need to operate the Maxa Beam in visible light applications. This package features the new MBP-1307 Lithium-Ion Battery with Built-In Charger. The Li-Ion Battery weighs just 2.1 pounds and recharges from a 100-240 VAC or 11-29 VDC source using the included AC & DC adapter cables.

MBP-1307 Lithium-Ion Battery
The NEW Lithium-Ion Battery offers a significant leap in technology over older battery chemistries. The Li-Ion is lighter weight (2.1 lbs. vs. 5.5 lbs.) and has a longer run time (110 min. vs. 90 min. on normal power) than the traditional MBP-1207 NiCad Battery. The new Li-Ion battery also features a five-level LED fuel gauge and a built-in charger, meaning that you no longer need an external charging unit such as the MBP-5200 to recharge your Maxa Beam batteries.
The Li-Ion battery is compatible with all Maxa Beam searchlights. For the battery to recharge, it must be connected to a 100-240 VAC power source using the MBP-5003 AC Adapter to or an 11-29 VDC source using the MBP-5230 DC Adapter. (Note: If you already own an MBP-5200 Series Maxa Beam Charger, the AC and/or DC adapter that plugs into your current charger can plug directly into the new Li-Ion battery for recharging; no additional adapters need to be purchased.)

MBPKG-B Basic Maxa Beam Package
The Basic Maxa Beam Package is an economical starter package for applications that do not require continuous use. The NiCad battery pack charges overnight using the included trickle charger. To have the option of a quick 2 hour recharge or multiple batteries, please see the MBPKG-B-DOD Basic DoD Maxa Beam Package, the MBPKG-D Deluxe Maxa Beam Package, or the MBPKG-F Maxa Beam Force Protection Package.

MBPKG-B-DOD Basic DoD Maxa Beam Package
This package contains everything you need to operate the Maxa Beam in a visible light situation. The Maxa Beam searchlight’s NiCad battery pack can be rapidly recharged in 2.5 hours from a 100-240 VAC source with the included Multi-Voltage Smart Charger. The MBPKG-B Basic Package differs from this package in that the MBPKG-B has a Trickle Charger (24 hr. recharge) and the MBPKG-B-DOD includes the Multi-Voltage Smart Charger (2.5 hr. recharge).

MBPKG-D Deluxe Maxa Beam Package
The deluxe package contains the critical equipment necessary to operate the Maxa Beam in handheld applications that require both visible and infrared illumination. The Deluxe Package includes a searchlight, 850nm IR filter, two rechargeable NiCad battery packs and a multi-voltage conditioning smart charger. Each NiCad battery will power the searchlight for 90 minutes on regular beam power (110 minutes on battery saver mode) and can be recharged in 2.5 hours from a 100-240 VAC or 11-36 VDC power source. The multi-voltage charger can be secured to a horizontal surface using the installed mounting brackets. The Deluxe Package also includes a 5 foot coiled power cord, two cushioned battery shoulder straps, a padded filter pouch and a large storage case.

MBPKG-F Force Protection Maxa Beam Package
Designed for force protection aboard U.S. Navy vessels, this package contains all of the equipment needed for continuous operation with both visible and infrared. Each NiCad battery will power the searchlight for 90 minutes on regular beam power (110 minutes on battery saver mode) and can be recharged in 2.5 hours from a 100-240 VAC or 11-36 VDC power source. The multi-voltage charger can be secured to a horizontal surface using the installed mounting brackets. The included replacement kit allows for easy maintenance in the field.

Mounted Maxa Beam Packages
MBPKG-E Watertight Enclosure System
Specifically designed for harsh maritime conditions, the Watertight Enclosure is constructed of 6061 passivated aluminum and provides a secure, weatherproof environment for the Maxa Beam Searchlight. Several options are available, including voltage range, control method and output level. The MBPKG-E is a 12V enclosure with a standard output of 7.5 million candlepower. The enclosure is powered and controlled via RS232 protocol from a single 12-pin metal connector. MBPKG-H1 Maxa Beam Permanent Vehicle Mount System
This newly developed system allows the Maxa Beam to be mounted securely to the roof of a military HMMWV. The searchlight mount bonds to the roof with epoxy adhesive, meaning that no drill holes through the vehicle armor are necessary. The light is powered from the vehicle’s 24V battery and the operator remotely controls the Maxa Beam from within the vehicle.
The MBPKG-H1 Permanent Vehicle Mount System contains the MBS-430 Wired Remote Searchlight (no handle) and includes mil. spec. metal connectors, shielded cable, and a fully shrouded, hinged mount. This system can be customized for specific vehicles and applications. (Note: MBA-APPL Adhesive Applicator Gun is sold separately.)

MBPKG-H2 Maxa Beam Portable Vehicle Mount System
This newly developed system allows the Maxa Beam to be mounted securely to the roof of a military HMMWV. The searchlight mount bonds to the roof with epoxy adhesive, meaning that no drill holes through the vehicle armor are necessary. The light is powered from the vehicle’s 24V battery and the operator remotely controls the Maxa Beam from within the vehicle.
The MBPKG-H2 Permanent Vehicle Mount System contains the MBS-450 Remote Wired Searchlight (with handle) and a NiCad battery and charger. This allows the searchlight to serve the dual purposes of hard-mounted vehicle light and portable handheld searchlight. This system includes an unshrouded mount for easy access to the light.
