Glow paint/powder

Glow powder comes in 2 main types,

Zinc Sulphide,old style with short after glow.

Strontium Aluminate, much more recent development, with much longer afterglow.

Neither of these are Radioactive and are completely harmless.

Radium Paint was used during WW2 and shortly afterwards for aircraft intrument dials, watches and similar. This substance IS Radioactive and is no longer used.
